These two were married at Jump Off Rock this past fall. Jump off rock is a perfect mountain view location with no hiking. The day was absolutely beautiful, the drive up there were leaves falling and the light was shining and making everything glow. It’s days like this that I can’t believe this is my job! Enough about me let me introduce you to Lyndsey and Ryan.

How They Met

“Ryan and I met in Maui through his Aunt Eve. Eve owns a nonprofit garden sanctuary and a small retreat center on Maui. I met Eve in high school on a spiritual retreat with my dad, and ended up interning for her in college and going back to work for her after I graduated. That’s where I met Ry! Eve had asked Ry to come out a year before me to help her around (Fate!). Ryan was a personal trainer and manager of a local gym on Maui. I worked in HR, and did Sound Healing on the side. Ryan was completely uninterested in a romantic relationship for 8 months. So we got to cultivate a warm friendship before anything else, which is awesome!!”

How He Proposed

The two had planned a photo shoot at the Lavender farm in Maui, Hawaii, and Ryan decided to pop the “surprise” question in the middle of the lavender field on the side of the mountain overlooking the entire island. These two were planning on getting married in Hawaii, however like many couples in 2020, their plans changed. They did not want to wait any longer to get married so they planned an intimate ceremony with their parents.
