We absolutely loved being a part of this couples Sherrill’s Inn Fall Elopement! This venue is a beautiful historic home built in the 1800s. Sherrill’s Inn is a quaint white home, with beautiful mountain views, gardens, and classic white picket fences. It’s the perfect place for a wedding or elopement. We thought it was the perfect place for these two to say “I Do” this past fall.
Gordon and Christine met at their job only a desk away back in 2015. As newcomers on the job together, they became fast friends and quickly had a weekly routine including Tuesday trivia nights and spending the weekends together at local events.
After a few months had passed, they were at a festival in downtown and Gordon looked over at Christine and took her hand. Then they went on to date for 3.5 years before getting engaged.
While they were in Costa Rica together, surrounded by the beautiful, butterfly-filled rainforest, Gordon proposed to Christine. She responded with, “It’s so pretty, can I touch it?” And then a big YES!!
The day of their elopement Christine and Gordon got ready at the Inn. After their outdoor garden ceremony, they celebrated on the front porch with cake and a champagne toast. They were accompanied by some of their closest friends and family to celebrate with.
We are so happy to have been a part of this Sherrill’s Inn fall elopement for such a special couple. View some of our favorites from their day on the blog below!
